Moedim privacy policy
Effective October 4, 2026
Moedim is made by Brilliant Disruptions LLC. It is built to work without collecting anything about you.
What we collect
Nothing. Moedim has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It doesn’t send your information to us or to anyone else.
What stays on your phone
To work, the app saves a few things on your device:
- Your settings: your city or location, calendar and reminder choices, Bible translation, light, and whether you read as a Gentile or a Jewish believer.
- Your checkmarks on prep steps and readings.
Moedim never sends them anywhere. If your phone backs up to iCloud or Google, the backup includes them along with your other apps’ data, and restoring it brings them back. Deleting the app deletes them from the phone, and Settings, Your data clears your checkmarks.
Location
Only if you tap “Use my current location” does Moedim ask your phone for your approximate location, to work out sunrise, sunset and the times of prayer. It names the location for the nearest town from a list of places that comes with the app, so your location is never looked up online. The coordinates and the name are saved on your phone, and Moedim never sends them anywhere. You can search for a city instead and never share your location.
Reminders
Reminders are scheduled by your phone itself. None of them goes through a server.
Links to other sites
The “Read” and “Hebrew” links open Bible Gateway and Sefaria in your browser, and the guides link to sites such as Wikipedia. Those sites have their own privacy policies. A link carries only the passage or page you asked for.
Children
Moedim collects no information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
